Students see that families work together, play together, learn from each other, celebrate together, and help one another. Different kinds of families are shown; those with one parent and two parents, and those that are large, small, and mid-sized. Viewers discover that families provide our basic needs: love and affection, shelter, clothing, and food. A special section takes students to many foreign lands, where they learn that families are very much alike throughout the world.
